Difference Makers

Difference Makers

We need you

We Need You

If you're looking for a place where you can make a difference and serve Christ in a radical way, World Prayr may just be the place for you.

World Prayr will aggressively evangelize the web providing online resources of encouragement, support, and prayer. It will also develop a network of believers in Christ that will re-connect hurting people to local ministries and local bodies of believers to offer fellowship, support, and real answers; and treat them as family ought to be treated - nothing more nothing less.

What started as a little twitter account has now grown into a global ministry and mission team that is serving as a support for other ministries, authors and changing the culture of churches, while reaching those who have been disconnected from community to help them get reconnected. They do this by offering encourgament, support, prayer and working to connect them to local bodies of believers. With a focus of inspiring others to follow the example of the one who gave the only perfect performance and to live in the freedom that come from believing “It Is Finished.”

World Prayr is working to be difference makers by establishing greater commonality by being "Big Kingdom Minded" in building the kingdom. While working hard to "Reconnect A Broken World"

Really, Difference Makers, establishing commonality, big kingdom minded, supporting other ministries, authors, changing the culture of churches, challenging others to follow awful big words and terms, got proof?!

We believe that you along with others like those of whose quotes you will find here will agree after reading this or discovering more on the rest of the site that we truly are those things. We also believe that when you discover this you will want to either be a part of this ministry either by joining our team and serving this wonderful Ohana or supporting the work financially.

Difference Makers

Because World Prayr is working to live out the following verses:

Philippians 2:4

"Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

Romans 12:10

"Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”

2 Thessalonians 3:7-13

" 8b - We worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you."

As a ministry we believe we are making a difference, one life, one ministry, one church and one prayer at a time.

The ministry is doing an amazing work and has a unique place in the Body of Christ. I wholeheartedly support the work of World Prayr.

Establishing Communality

John 17:21

"That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

The stronghold of the enemy has for long has been the division caused by the secondary issues of the body, thus instead of making those outside envious to be in it. These divisions have made the body unattractive and have resulted in a great chasms in the body of Christ.

It is within those chasms that World Prayr has chosen to work. It is the hope of a World Prayr leader's to build connections and develop systems and methods to serve Christ in doing so World Prayr will work towards reconnecting those holes and letting the world know we are one.

If the church is going to awaken, prayer and God will do it and World Prayr is building to get there.

We are also looking in the spirit of the following verses to aggressively promote other ministries and churches through establishing a two-way bridge. This is why FaithFactr will exist in order to aggressively work to be a para ministry supporting and working to help build other ministries.

Romans 12:10

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Philippians 2:3-4

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Big Kingdom Minded By Working and Supporting Others

Ephesians 4:4-6

"There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, - one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

Yet, today it would appear that there are multiple kingdoms, instead of one. It would seem we are playing for different teams or our own team as each ministry, each church looks out for their own interests. World Prayr has seen it time and time again as we will call a ministry or church looking to offer help promoting them, or how we can serve them. When we call them more than not the conversation goes similar to something like this.

We are calling to let you know who we are, what we do and to let you know that we would like to help you in our own way to promote and support your ministry. That usually leads to another question “What do you want?”

“We really want nothing!” “Come on what do you want, REALLY?!” “We cannot afford to pay anyone for promotions” “No! It's free!” “What do you want, really!”

These conversations have helped us realize that we need to be even bigger kingdom minded. Which is why we take one week a month and work to promote different ministries and why we have a "Whom We Support">page.

Through our blog we invite authors and other blog writers, so that we can work towards helping them promote their writing. We have also now started featuring other pastors on our podcast for the same reasons.

Now through our "Strengening The Local" program we are working to support local churches.

World Prayr is “big” kingdom oriented, that is, the coming kingdom of our Lord; not “little” kingdom minded, focusing on what is best for them, rather than the needs of the body of Christ.

Changing The Culture Of Churches

Luke 14:23

"And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.”

When the vision of World Prayr was established it included a vision to go into churches to teach them how to reach deeper and further by providing training, resources for churches in order for those churches to go into a new mission field, called social media. 2013 saw that the launch of that vision as World Prayr begun working with it's first church in the program. Already in 2014 we have begun working with our second church.

Now this may seem slow, but it is so purposely as we work out the kinks. This will allow us to make sure this program is as effective as it can be.

As part of our work we are taking a different approach and rather than asking churches to support us, donate to us, promote us we are walking in and going we are here to support you, to help you build, to help you reach those you are not reaching and impact those you are not. As well as, helping you get those who are unable to serve currently, serving. We also are not charging churches for this service.

As a result of this work churches will be trained on how to build mission teams to go into this new mission field called social media and the web. For truly the highways and hedges in the 21st century is social media and this is where by 2017 2.55 billion individuals will be.

Through our blog we invite authors and other blog writers, so that we can work towards helping them promote their writing. We have also now started featuring other pastors on our podcast for the same reasons.

To learn more about how we are doing this check out our "Strengthening the Local" page and "The Plan" pages.

One of the ways that World Prayr hopes to change the culture of churches is to get them to stop describing those serving in churches and ministries as volunteers, rather challenging them as Paul did in Romans 6:22 to live as "Servants Of The Most High God." To discover the reason why and why World Prayr believes this is important and will make a radical difference in the culture of these churches and ministries, visit our Servants Only page.

We witnessed the beginning of this with our first church as they released their vision plan and challenge to the church for 2014.In an eight point vision Pastor David Lyles shared with the church how they would do just this very thing.

You guys are flipping the model! I get ministries all the time coming in here or calling me asking me to support or help them or promote them. You guys have flipped that and are saying we are here to serve you.

What We Are Working On In 2015

Visit our About page and take a look at our "Working On" section to find out what we are currently working on.

2015 started with asking ourselves, what it look like as individuals, leading as leaders and the ministry as a whole if really lived as though we believed and understood the ramifications, height, width, depth and truth of Christ’s words “IT IS FINISHED”?

What will the next step look like? To discover this we know we will need to not only trust but wait on God as he reveals it. However, where 2014 was the year we said that World Prayr would break out, 2015 we are calling "The Next Step In Stepping Out In Believing It Is Finished."

So if you're looking for something radically different. If you're looking to be part of a bridge uniting the body of Christ and want to be part of a global effort to reeally be "Difference Makers," then come join us. We warn you though this is not easy work, it is challenging!

As a result, we need those who come as living sacrifices, ready to give all and work to be a champion for the one who gave all! If that sounds like something you're interested in
