Meet The Executive Team

If one word could be used to describe to a tee each individual on this page it would be the word contained in the picture to the left. No word would better describe the heart, mind, and spirit within each individual listed here. While, much can be said for having a strong aggressive leader at the top.

Christ said it all when he made the following statement and took the following actions.

Luke 22: 26-30

“But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.”

John13:14

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another feet.”

John 14:12

“A new command I give you I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”

John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

As a result you will find the following prevailing attitudes in World Prayr from the top down.

1) A mop bucket mentality of doing whatever, whenever it is necessary

2) A shoeshine boy mentality of always looking to serve.

3) We are constantly in search, developing training, praying for and working towards finding our replacement.

4) We understand and realize a lot of what we are doing now and moving forward we may never see the result of we may have only been laying the groundwork for others to come along and do more than we dreamed possible.

5) A deep desire towards the commitment of World Prayr’s mission of “Re-connecting a Broken World.”

While there is a clear vision and clear communication flow in World Prayr there is also an attitude of wanting to serve, encourage, uplift and guide gracefully the World Prayr ‘Ohana. We are not perfect but we strive to serve lead and grow in Christ together. Prayerfully you will consider becoming a a part of this tremendous mission or at least supporting the work of World Prayr.

Rebecca Badstibner

Rebecca Badstibner is a rare breed as she was born and raised in South Florida. In fact her whole family goes back at least four generations of native Floridians. She is the wife of Senior Pastor Patrick Badstibner and mother of two wonderful grown daughters, Jessica and Michaela. She has been a successful business owner overseeing the human resources, books and office staff for her and Pastor Pat’s former company. She has also been a successful real estate agent in the upstate area of South Carolina where she now resides.

Those who know Pastor Pat and Becky say that if you want something built you go find Pat but if you want to enjoy a nice relaxing enjoyable evening you leave Pat home as he will be too busy anyway, and you take along Becky. One of their dearest friends once said “I would rather spend time with Becky then almost anyone else I know.” That is why serving as the Chief Relational Officer of World Prayr is the perfect spot for her. She also serves as Co – General Manager along with World Prayr Director Janice Burdsall who together are referred to as “Lucy and Ethel” of the FaithFactr Store. Scott Larsen

Scott Larsen is married to his wife Annette for 22 years and served as foster parents for 14 of those years with the blessing of adopting 3 beautiful children who are now ages 17, 13 and 8. He attended North Greenville College from 1984 -1988 earning his Associates degree in Church Recreation.

He currently is a stay at home dad. Scott has also served as chairman of the board and in various capacities for a local foodbank in the Upstate Area.of South Carolina He has served in various churches as the church treasurer for a number of years. He and his wife and children attend Tabernacle Baptist Church and currently serves as Church Treasurer. Also serving as the Controller for World Prayr.

Portia Scholl

Portia Scholl serves as Assistant Vice President of Ministry in WorldPrayr. She is a Wife, Mother and a very proud Grandmother. By the Grace of God she is a cancer survivor.

For the last ten years she has worked with her husband as a law practice administrator in Bankruptcy Law firm. She attended Temple University and University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Over the years she has also worked as a medical social worker, a special medical foster care social work supervisor, a parenting skills educator and substitute music teacher.

Erik Retallick

Erik serves in the capacity of President of Ministry at World Prayr . He came to know the Lord at the age of 8 in 1963. He graduated from college in 1977, with a Bachelor of Education degree. He also married Hazel his wife in 1977, who he had met while studying.Erik has extensive background in developing computer technologies and has worked extensively as a freelance performing musician and music teacher for 12 years.

Since 1999 Erik has continued to teach music, and has been a Church Organist and Choirmaster in for 5 years. He has also led music groups, preached and taken services. He has recently moved to a more local church to become more involved in his community.

Janice Burdsall

Janice Burdsall is married to her best friend and soulmate Charlie and currently resides in the pacific northwest. She has three grown children and four grandchildren. Janice has an extensive background in property management and real estate. As well as winning awards for team building. Janice serves as the Director of Outreach, Ministry Relations and Membership.

She has along the way developed skills in marketing, budget finance, building teams, human resource management, project and budget targeting, management and marketing. While once serving and responsible for the hiring and firing of a large muli-million dollar company.

She now brings those skills, talents, and abilities to World Prayr. Which she feels God has prepared her for this role and challenge through the other experiences and roles she has been able to grow through. Where she serves as Director of World Prayr and along with Chief Relational Officer Rebecca Badstibner serves as Co – General Manager who together are referred to as “Lucy and Ethel” of the FaithFactr Store.

Bernard McMahon

Bernard McMahon brings as a Senior Business Consultant of World Prayr over 37 years business development experience in a broad range of companies. A graduate in management. Bernard is married to his wife Mea and has four wonderful children.

Bernard has served in several capacities within the marketing and advertising world. Always at the upper level management of any company he has worked for. His speciality has been in the IT arena working with several in growing, advising, and helping to develop many from the ground up.

He also has formed and started two of his own companys one being in the multimedia arena, the other in the e-commerce and e-learning arena . Which along with other companies he has been a part of has given him extensive background in e-commerce and e-learning companies and the development of such even partnering with Microsoft on a couple of occasions.

He has a number of times been one of the key figures responsible for the development of companies from ground floor to selling off. In April 2003 he began to specialize in creating start-up businesses for inventors and others with ideas where the gaps were sales and marketing, investment and business management.

Outside the mainstream career path God provided him to have input into a church plant. This included the branding, marketing and early web site and communications development. He remains today an active member of this church which continues to grow in the area. He serves actively bringing his many years of wisdom to working in men’s ministries. He feels the second part of the mission World Prayr will be concentrating heavier in and on in 2011 is what God has been preparing him for his whole life.

Pastor Bob Kimball

Pastor Bob Kimball became a follower of Christ in the summer of 1974. He graduated from a Bible College in 1981, was ordained, and worked at a Christian school for a year.

He then went back for more schooling and received a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, married, and moved to Atlanta in 1989. He is a manager in the IT department at T-Mobile. He’s the father of special needs twins,

which inspired his twitter name as dadofspeckids. He has participated in music ministries in churches by singing in ensemble groups to lead worship.
