World Prayr was founded on the belief that God has purposely designed a connection in the Body of Christ among his children. Through that connection, we are able to serve our fellow brothers & sisters in Christ through Prayer, encouragement, support, and love. In fact, the greatest way we show Him and the world we are His is our love for one another.
By truly loving and supporting those in the body of Christ, we show and offer the world a glimpse of how much our Father loves us. In doing so we present the greatest truth, the best witness of the reality of the Gospel of Grace.
It is through that love for each other that the world witnesses something different – something unique and that makes the Body of Christ fully appealing, wonderful. and desirous so that all may long to belong. As World Prayr grew, we saw the hurt and pain on the web was intensive and extensive. It was not enough to just offer Prayer, support, and encouragement. There had to also be a way to help put feet on the Prayers of so many.
From that need, World Prayr saw a vision which now has resulted in our program, “Need Help”. It is our hope in offering “Need Help”, that we will be able to offer further help and quite possibly even work to put feet on those Prayer needs we witness.
The Need Help team works to offer the following:
1) Greater Prayer support, encouragement, and possibly, even council.
2) A connection for those hurting to help them reach those who can offer support, encouragements, and relief offline, if possible.
3) Greater awareness to additional answers during those times of greatest pain.
Job 6:14 says: A despairing man should have the devotion of his friends, even though they forsake the fear of the Almighty.
What this implies is that we should all have that support, that comfort, that arm to lift us up, to cry out to God for us, when we no longer can. It is here, that through the “Need Help” program, World Prayr seeks to serve those in need.
So if your feeling alone, afraid, don’t know where to turn, feeling hopeless, ashamed, disconnected or even disenchanted, let us be that arm of support for you.
Through the “Need Help” program, we will work to provide you with additional Prayer, council, and possibly even get you get re-connected offline to a ministry, outreach, or church in your area that can provide you even greater support – perhaps bringing you closer to being part of the family we call the Body of Christ.
