I am a brother from the land of Oz or Australia and I serve in the function and capacity of working on special projects like our World Prayr facebook prayr journal app. I am blessed to be able to present to you this page called the World Prayr "About Page." Here you will find many links helping you identify and get to know more about World Prayr. It is our prayer through understanding more you will see the need for our mission and will want to become a part of the World Prayr 'ohana.

Letter from our founder
Dear World Prayr follower, team member, and future team member,
Today I write as one who has been humbled and tremendously blessed to be the leader of what has become a God-given movement and unique approach of "reconnecting the body of Christ" by reaching others through the web.
What began in the minds of two men as a little twitter account has now blossomed into a full-fledged ministry. There are many who contribute to the success of World Prayr's mission - from our team members and leaders, blog contributors, ezine and online store managers, business managers, the senior council team, my own council of twelve and the trustees. Many are laying the foundation and the building blocks for what will hopefully be a ministry organization that will serve long after the founders have gone to be with their beloved Savior.
World Prayr has become a major impact and blessing to so many on the World Prayr team - none more than me. We are not perfect but we strive to serve, lead, and grow in Christ together as an 'ohana. We pray you will find our domain, our home to be one of accountability, transparency, and clarity of purpose, vision, and mission. Look to come in our domain further enlargement with things like an ezine, a reconnection plan, a member;s area, and expansion of our store. If you find you did not find an answer you were looking for in our domain, please let us know. You can send suggestions, questions, or any other inquiries through our contact page.
I want to invite you to become a part of this wonderful team. There are multiple ways to engage, at the very least to be in prayer for those who serve, that they would continue to be a blessing to so many and that they would continue to impact this mission field we call "the web" in a very powerful way by "re-connecting the body" one soul at a time. About WorldPrayr
World Prayr is an organization founded on the belief that the second greatest commandment Christ gave us was to "love your brother as yourself", and thereby show we are his followers, not by what we might term "religious acts." No, Christ stated clearly that it would be by our love for one another.
What we believe
Within every major Church or ministry are founding and guiding principles based on the word of God. These principles, or as some would say doctrinal statements, are the guiding statements for that church or organization. It is the same with World Prayr; these statements reflect the cornerstone upon which World Prayr has been built.

How can you help
We are on a definitive mission to put feet on the hundreds of prayers we see. As such to say we need Prayer would be stating the obvious. There are many ways to volunteer in World Prayr; World Prayr is also looking for and aggressively recruiting volunteers. As we are a ministry we are in constant need of support in a multitude of ways. From financial to time to other resources.

Networking Letter
Seventy percent of the world's population is connected to the web. There are many social sites and many who the only social connection they receive is through those sites like Facebook, Myspace or Twitter. As World Prayr began to take focus, one of the things that became obvious to its leaders was the tremendous disconnect of those online in these networks.
Organizational Power Point
While, much can be said for having a strong aggressive leader at the top. We believe the lessons of Christ leadership are best represented by a bottom up leadership model as exhibited by the seemingly upside down triangle. While there is a clear vision and clear communication flow in World Prayr there is also an attitude of wanting to serve, encourages, uplift and guide gracefully the World Prayr Ohana. We are not perfect but we strive to serve,lead,and grow in Christ together and follow his leadership example.
Meet our Senior Council
No, we do not have a board but we do have a senior council, comprised of pastors and ministry leaders from the major protestant denominations. They provide council, wisdom, support and guidance for our founder Pastor Pat. They also provide major accountability and let him know when we as a ministry are not performing and going in the right direction.
We are honored and blessed to have these men serving with us. Take time and get to know them.
Meet our Team
Our Chief Project Officer and Network Coordinator Dora Perry started a saying that is now used by all our leaders.
She called us an "'Ohana" - a Hawaiian word for family. After all we are all God's family and privileged servants of the most high.
Meet our Leaders
When our founder, Pastor Pat (along with Jason Carroll) decided to start World prayr, and having spent years as the sole intellectual property for a major landscape and design firm, he knew this was not the way he wanted to go with World Prayr. He wanted to build a team - an 'Ohana -that would grow and live long past himself.
Then as World Prayr grew the work load became such Pastor Pat could no longer handle it. For World Prayr to move forward we needed more leaders.
Today our leadership team is made up of individuals who have a willingness to serve God, be a blessing to others, and not look upon themselves as volunteers but as chosen servants of the Almighty. You will find two prominent attitudes among our leaders.
- They are all shoe shiners.
- They all own the mop bucket when it's their time.
If you feel World Prayr is a place you would like to give more and you do not mind owning the mop bucket, World Prayr is always looking for more leaders.
For now take time to meet our existing ones.
Meet our Trustee Board
World Prayr's Trustee Board is responsible for creating and overseeing a system to collect donations, generate revenue and develop an appropriate structure and business plan. Trustees provide World Prayr leadership with high standards of accountability, sound wisdom, guidance, and direction. In an effort to be above reproach, our CEO/Pastor Pat does not sit on the committee, but relies on them for direction, support, accountability and guidance.
So the following individuals agreed to serve in this capacity.
Meet our Executive Team
World Prayr's Executive Team is responsible for everything from overseeing the day to day operations. To building and developing network partners for World Prayr. Also included but certainty not limited to are business development. What we refer to as our building of the tents or our tent making model. Also included here is our financial oversight. They are not perfect but they try to lead with an attitude of excellence as unto our Lord and Savior. They work hard to maintain an attitude of leading with mop bucket mentality and remembering they are shoe shiners.
