Q. What is World Prayr?
World Prayr is an online mission team comprised of Servants of the Most High God who serve in various areas and capacities with World Prayr, while encouraging, praying for and connecting and reconnecting others to the body of Christ.
Q What is the Mission of World Prayr?
Well, perhaps our mission statement will help answer this.
World Prayr will aggressively evangelize the web providing online resources of encouragement,support, and Prayer. It will also develop a network of believer’s in Christ that will re-connect hurting people to local ministries and local bodies of believers to offer fellowship, support,and real answers, and treat them as family ought to be treated, nothing more,nothing less.
Q How does World Prayr carry out it’s
Through a team of dedicated servants who have come together at this time for serving others and helping fufill Christ’s last prayer that the body of Christ be one. One might say that it is a team of common people putting out uncommon effort to serve the One who gave all.
Q How does World Prayr choose those who will serve with WorldPrayr?
World Prayr has a vetting system in place which we do a questionairre, research the answers, and then research those people who serve with us. World Prayr team members are constantly subjected to hurts and pains of others, as well as, some of our team members handle serious confidential information. So our vetting system is always being improved, and we are always working on it, striving to make sure we get those who are truly committed to serving others and their Lord.
Q World Prayr seems to shun from, and not encourage, volunteerism. Is this true?

Q Is there someone I can talk to about relationship with Christ and my salvation?
A Our moderators will be happy to talk with you about your relationship with Jesus Christ. We can help you be sure of your future and know that your salvation is secure in Him. Is there a phone number, a Skype number or an email address where we can talk further?
Q How can I help in serving?
A There are many ways to serve here at Worldprayr. If you like Twitter or Facebook, we have moderators that answer prayer requests, offer encouragement, scripture and answer prayer requests with scripture and encouragement. We have the reconnection team and outreach where we help others connect to churches, ministries and many other ways. We have the store, where there are always ways to help and serve. As you can see, we offer many ways and ample opportunities for many to serve. We really are about putting feet on prayer here.
Q I only have a mobile phone. Will I still be able to moderate?
A You can easily moderate for Facebook with a mobile phone. However, with Twitter, it’s a bit difficult. Our moderators copy and paste the Direct Messages anonymously to the main page for our prayer partners to pray for. This cannot be done on some mobile phones.
Q I am very busy with work and other activities to commit to a specific schedule to serve. Will this be a problem?
A We have many ways to serve that are less time constricted. For example , we have a wonderful blog, prayer and re-connection team. That may be something that you could work around with your busy schedule.
Q My husband and I have a shelter for abused women. How can we tie in our ministry with Worldprayr?
A We would love to meet with you to discuss the specifics of your ministry or outreach. Beginning next year, we will have many organizations such as yours to which we will be able to refer those in need.

A. An answer to that question with might look like or involve the following!
Q Can you help me find a church that I can go to in my area?
A. Yes, we can! Tell us a little about yourself, and we will find one in your community that may be just what you are looking for! We also have a Church Resource page at which you are welcome to look.
Q. My life is such a mess. I don’t see any way out. I am a Christian, but have thought of taking my life. I know this is against God, but I can’t get rid of these thoughts. Can you please help me?
A Yes, we have a mentor you can speak with. It will just be between the two of you. We will pass your email information to one of our mentors, and they will be contacting you soon.
Q. I am having trouble with my marriage and my spouse is wanting to split up. Can you please pray for us?
A. Yes, we have a prayer team that will pray with and for both of you. We actually have a testimony where this did occur, and the couple are now working it out.
Q My children and I are about to lose our home due to the owner filing bankruptcy and letting the home go back to the bank. Can you help us find another home?
A We will do our very best. We have a team that will put together resources and information for you as well as start making some phone calls on your behalf. If you are a member of a local church we can start there. If not, we will try and find one that can help. The local Body of Christ has many resources that maybe able to help. We also have an Organizational Resource page at which you are welcome to look.
Q. We just moved into our new home, and we are having some mechanical issues. We have called the landlord, but they have not called us back. We are in desperate need of help. Our floor in our bathroom is staying wet due to plumbing issues. Can you help?
A We can, and we will do our best to get you some help in your area.. We will look for an organization or church in your area that may know someone that can help with you with this. We will start making phone calls now. This is, again, is from an actual request and there was a care center that did, in fact, have someone they sent over the next morning. They then proceeded to fix this issue at no charge to the couple, as they were also short on funds.
