Then, being abandoned by family and wrongfully evicted by a family friend, felt alone. Here are her words, “I was able to tell her everything. I shared every detail, every worry. I justcried and cried. The servant at World Prayr prayed with me, urged me to share with my church and bible study classes, and good friends. I did this and was pleasantly – unexpectedly – relieved. The proverbial weight was lifted off my shoulders. Through all this, this servant and WP have been a constant source of strength and prayer.” - Michelle'

  • A young lady, feeling terrified contacted us to share that she was having to face having an abortion against her will. Lord willing, our team was able to keep in touch with her and offer scripture and words of encouragement, through this difficult time. With continued communication and prayers, and then a few months of silence, she got back to the team to say that she had had the abortion and struggling with continuous thoughts and regrets of never being able to see or hold her baby. In time, she has been able to steadily get stronger in God’s GRACE and has grown in her walk of faith knowing she is forgiven and will one day be reunited with her baby. “I'm so grateful that lately the spirit leads me..I'm so strong in prayer I'm forever in the Lord's presence..He has brought so much restoration in my life... I woke up to the realization that the Lord has restored and continues to restores things in my life and I trust all this is in His perfect will for my life….”

  • Nelly - Please pray for me. I just had my 2 nd anniversary and 3 days before my husband told me he doesn’t love me anymore and he doesn’t see me as his life partner. World Prayr servant - I have prayed that God will bless your marriage and I pray that your marriage will honor God. Please let us know how things are going and we will keep you in our prayers. Nelly - Thanks for your prayers. I have seen God´s hand in my life, in my marriage and even in my husband´s life. I have noticed he has made some attitude changes not only at home but also in his job. Yesterday he openly told me he was looking for some devotionals at internet! He realized his feelings are changing! Glory and Honor to the Lord!.

  • Through chatting with someone at World Prayr, I started serving on the team and learn more about God’s love for me. My wife died in late December on a Tuesday, I was at church that Sunday. During the service, God spoke to my heart. I developed a budget and learned I had to give up some things. It was a hard and difficult task. Looking back, I’m grateful and humble for this servant’s insight, love and compassion. Were it not for World Prayr and God, who knows where I might be.

  • Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement. Have a blessing day. God bless you and your family, as always. I promise I will! I have endured abuse since I was 14 years old from my parents and my older brother. I continue to pray and meditate solely on God to heal. I never drink alcohol or use drugs. I’m very protective of my health. I will stay in touch, there’s much I need to let out! I been holding so much inside of me. Thank you so much for listening! God bless you
  • Thank you for your pray, we reached 9 years of our marriage today. I pray that God will be more with our family, moreover hope we can believe that He never leave us. Still hope my husband to be more responsibility to us, but thanks God for the happiness we share last nite. Thanks for your pray, please keep praying for my family. Thank you, God bless you.
  • Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. My son continue struggling trying to take care of his son and himself. I help them as much as I can but I am living on a fixed monthly Social Security check. My grandson broke down in tears at school because of their situation. My son did get a one bedroom apartment and he is on the waiting list for affordable housing that won’t be available until close to the end of the year. We were able to come up with the first months rent plus deposit. Now we are working on trying to come up with rent money for April. He didn’t find a job but he is trying to get his SSI started. He gets a little help from food stamps and one of the churches gave him a Safeway gift card to help with food. I was in a bad car accident last Monday so I am trying to come up with my $500 dollar deductible because the accident was my fault but luckily no on was hurt. I went to the hospital from the accident because paramedics thought my arm was broken but I had a Contusion. I am praying that thing will get better soon because I don’t think they can get any worse. Thank you. Our prayers were answered, we got the money we needed! God is so good
  • I appreciate you being there for me when i was to break down. The pain of unforgiveness inside me was too much to handle, it’s like eating me inside slowly and painfully. But talking about it was liberating. When you prayed for me first before answering my questions, I really was in tears. I decided to hide from my co-workers here in the hospital because I didn’t want them to see me cry and create rumors. I also decided not to confide with my friends because I don’t want to create more problem by sharing my marriage to people whom I know would not understand with all those encouragement that you told me, those scriptures.. I started believing again that our marriage will work out if we both do what the scriptures tell us to do.. And to surrender our all to Him. God knew how I want this marriage to work, thank you again
  • She wrote to our team asking for scriptural advice and insights regarding a friend new in his walk of faith, struggling with "evil spirits". She could not understand and felt she should be able to "pray" the evil spirits out and was getting discouraged when she thought her prayers were not being answered. Along with other insights and scripture, our team referred her to Matthew 17:14-20 where Jesus' disciples could not cast a demon out of a boy, but Jesus could. The team shared that God is not an entity that we can invoke power from. He is our all knowing and all powerful creator and gives what He wants when He wants. That He is always the power working THROUGH us. That the "unanswered prayers" weren't from a lack of faith, but possibly, misplaced and understanding is the key. Even though we pray, God doesn't honor selfish prayers and is not going to give us everything we pray for. It may go against His plans. Same with any of the spiritual gifts He allows us to use when He wants us to have them. We never know when we will see results. We just need to have faith and keep trying. God will take care of those He wants to according to His will, His timing and His purpose, not ours. After several months and many communications and prayers later, ahe reached out to say, "you are right and I've been reading the Word more often than not, about what you've said, and it's true. God helped me to see. I think I just wanted to see my friend safe, away from harms way, away from darkness. Now I realize that God gives us the power and gives us everything we have in the first place. We just have to remember that God IS. Not that God is the power giver and that we are the ones who take it. Again, God help me".
  • We received a note from a young high school student mentioning how much our ministry inspired her. That a few years ago she was going through a very tough time and she had came across our website and submitted a prayer request and "thankfully you guys blessed me with a prayer". Now, God laid it on her heart to plant a seed of faith into our ministry which she sent through mail and that was not the only thing God laid on her heart. She mentioned she had about 12 or 13 family members who had estranged themselves and were going down a destructive path that she knew God did not want for them. Her grandmother, who was a wonderful woman of God, was the glue that kept her family together and that after she passed away, things went downhill in regard to her family. Her family members don't communicate and are avoiding her and her mother because they are born again Christians. She felt God was ready for her family to be delivered from their bondage of sin and be reconciled with Him. "Your ministry kept popping up in my head and I kept pushing the idea back, yet God tugged on my heart to contact you guys, because I'm going to need the help of prayer warriors". She asked if our team could send prayer letters to these family members so they would know how much Jesus loves them and wants them to receive His salvation. She felt the family might be willing to listen to what the Lord speaks to them, as they gotten in to some deep and hopeless situations in the past year. CK gathered their addresses and listed out a specific prayer request for each family member. Our team was blessed to be able to pray specific prayers and send it to each family member as requested. Those who received prayer for salvation, also received a Bible to their home address. Praise God that even before these notes were were mailed, many of the family members started showing an interest in knowing the Lord. Since the first email arrived, this young lady has seen many members coming forward to accept Christ as well as her father has attended church for the first time in years. We continue to keep in touch with this beautiful sister in Christ and are thankful that the Lord is indeed at work in her and her family's lives. "God and THE POWER of PRAYER is amazing!"
  • I experienced the worst crises of my life. The day before Valentine’s Day, my son was murdered--- Death is one thing that certainly puts life into perspective. In my heart, I knew that God would never leave or forsake me. The death of my son made me sit at the feet of Jesus and allow His loving arms to console me. My prayer was a simple prayer… Lord help me, and The Lord heard my cry and he helped me. The Lord guided me to World Prayr, and the wonderful people there stood in the gap and interceded for me in prayer during the most difficult time of my life. Sometimes I like to be alone and in solitude to allow God to comfort me, however at times when the pain became overwhelming, I graciously learned to accept support from family and friends that God had placed in my life. Me and my family have learned to live our lives without Michael, but he will always be in our hearts. We know that each day that we are away from Michael; it is just a day closer to seeing him in Heaven. Heaven is my home and that is where my heart is. After crying out, I know that God is constant in my life. God alone is my comfort and strength. When I am too weak to fight, I lean on Him and He is my strength.

A SPECIAL TESTIMONIAL

He and his children were being evicted from there home due to landlord going into bankruptcy. A World Prayr servant went to work. She found them a home. This one was cheaper than what the landlord normally charged and allowed the father to do some work to cover the security deposit. Now this family will be able to have a home for Christmas. - John
